Double Smoked Ham with Southeastern Glaze

Why not warm up your pre-cooked ham on the smoker to give it an extra layer of flavor?

7-9 lb pre-cooked ham

1/3 cup Uncle Bubby's Pig Rub

1/2 cup Uncle Bubby's Carolina Mustard

2 tablespoons honey

Zest and Juice of 1 Orange

I just bought a fully cooked, smoked shank portion ham and gave it a good rub down with Uncle Bubby’s Pig Rub. Smoked it at 300 for about 3 hours. Added half the glaze and then put back on the smoker at 225 for 30 min. Added the remaining glaze and smoked another 10 min. It was different and really tasty. Not your typical sweet ham.

The glaze gets its name from the “Carolina Mustard” and the oranges which make me think of Florida lol.

Southeastern Glaze

Mix all ingredients in a small sauce pan. Bring to a simmer, stirring often. Remove from heat and use as needed. Enjoy!
